This gallery displays a wide variety of wild and cultivated flowers, including garden flowers, water lilies, lotuses, and orchids, as well as the occasional fungus. Images were captured primarily in the Eastern United States and Hawaii.

These images were made primarily in national parks located in Utah and Arizona, including Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce, Zion, and Grand Canyon National Parks. The colors of the rock, glow of sunrise and sunset light, unusual shapes, massive formations, and starkness of terrain and climate capture our eye and engage our imagination.
Forest and Water
Captured mainly in the forests, mountains, and seashore of the Eastern United States, including Acadia, Shenandoah, and Great Smoky Mountains National Parks; Manassas National Battlefield Park; and elsewhere, these images highlight the beauty of forests, mountains, and water.

Images in this gallery are intended to convey beauty and create an impression from their color and texture. They include reflections of light and form, motion blurs, and long exposures.
