Iceland
These images were captured on a nine-day circumnavigation of Iceland using the 800-mile Ring Road. Iceland is a land of contrasts: rich green grasses growing on black lava slopes, fuming geothermal features, a vast glacier cap constantly shedding pieces of glass-clear ice into the ocean, thousands of waterfalls, and dramatic coastlines. There are thousands of sheep roaming the island, and iconic Icelandic horses, puffins, and other seabirds. The Icelanders are very friendly and welcoming, and most speak English extremely well.
Yes, the grass is really that vivid green. I made only minor adjustments to the color.
